GuMax 4.0.1 Red links not working

Hello Everyone!
I am using the skin GuMax 4.0.1 for my Mediawiki site, and I have relized that the links for non-existing page are not working properly.
Instead of appearing red, as they should in Mediawiki, appear in blue, as normal links. Only after clicking on them, they "become" red.
Do you have any idea of how to solve this issue, or was this already discussed in the forum and I did not find it?
