Problems installing GuMax

Hi there,
I'm pretty new to skins, and just tried installing GuMax 3.4.5. I extracted all the files into my wiki directory (and they automatically went into the correct folders, it seems), and set GuMax DD as the default skin in LocalSettings.php. I then on then refreshed the wiki page (while holding Shift) but nothing happened, the default skin is still monobook. When I go to Preferences --> Skins and select GuMax, the Main Page only displays this message:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method SkinGuMaxDD::tooltipAndAccesskey() in /usr/local/www/apache22/wiki/skins/GuMaxDD.php on line 254
So the skin must be incorrectly installed. I wasn't able to find any basic installation instructions on the GuMax site, so not sure if I'm missing any steps. Any help at all would be appreciated....thanks!!
