GuMax 3.3 customization

Hi,
First of all, many thanks for the skin you have provided.
I am a newbie and trying to use Gumax 3.3. I wanted to customize it a bit for my site specific requirement. Please guide me how to proceed with that.
1) I want to remove the site logo [ the full width logo on the top ] and want to use that space fully. So I want to use that space too for content. How can i do that?
2) i want to put adsense skycrapper at the right hand side. where to put the adsense code? do i need to do some additioanal configuration?
