Well it's a big deal...

We would like to use GuMaxDD skin as a temporary skin for the user experience design platform waiting we finish to develop special interface. Then we have the same problem.

[*]In one hand I found your skin to be the most efficient, usable, simple... well, the best skin witch can be found on internet.

[*]In an other hand if we look at trends (Gardner analyses for example) and researches leaded by the american governement (Don Tapscot), communities gain a great support in them dynamics from social tools. SocialProfile extension is the only one available.

Well, I think we will use Gumax instead wich really great too. You are a greta skin design Paul.

This skin also have common elements with our currently designed architecture. I contact you by mail.

Using GuMax is an alternative, at least you can use both GuMax skin and the extension.

Problem now wider spread, Lightbox2.04 does not work with this skin either.

Is there some sort of way where we can use jquery with YUI through a noconflict? Where would you put it?

My question is since theme uses jquery and jquery has the jqueryNoConflict thingamabob....can you tell me where I would need to place that statement in order to get the lightbox working which uses prototype or atleast the SocialProfile YUI extension?

I'm not sure the details of these conflicts, but you can open two scripts in the skin and give a hack...

I fixed this! Well YUI fixed this. YUI has a new library in development YUI 3.0. I read somewhere that it fixes a lot of conflicts with Jquery. I was able to manually copy the yui.js file from the new yui3.0 library over the same file in the socialprofile skin and it worked!
