Putting elements in header/footer of GuMax?

Another question! I am a beginner at CSS, so bear with these novice questions.

How do I add an element -- in this case an AdWord block through use of the GoogleAdWords extension -- into header or footer of the GuMax skin? I can't figure out which file to insert the tags into, and when I try adding the tags in the footer section of the css sheet, nothing changes in the footer.

Thanks for any advice,

This extension is used inside the mediawiki article, not in any file or CSS, still don't know how to use it, go to my wiki and click on "view source" and use that as an example.

After do these, let me know if any questions.

Ah, I see. I do know how to use the GoogleAdWords extension inside a wiki article, I just did not know it couldn't be used outside of there.

Could you tell me where I might paste the raw HTML from the AdWords site in order to get an AdWords block into the footer without using the extension tags but only using the code that Google generates normally? I really do appreciate any guidance.

Then you need to change in the GuMax.php file...
