How to make GuMaxDD skin to work

Hi, I have installed Mediawiki on my PC (apache, mysql, php triad installed).

Mediawiki installed and working.
GuMaxDD skin installed, start page ok
but web links in horizontal navigation bar all point to the same page,
the opened page on Mediawiki.

Standard install, what's wrong.

Any idea ?

If you are using wiki 1.17.... go and download latest version GuMax 1.5....

My configuration
Windows XP,
FF 5.0.1
latest Mediawiki
latest GumaxDD

My triad (php, apache, mysql) comes with xampp.

Wordpress works fine.

The above horizontal navigation bar web links point to the same web page (just opened web page) as before.

have you fixed the database issue? This might be the root cause that prevents menu from been generated from database...

I reinstalled Mediawiki and
horizontal navigation menu bar started to work.

Thanks for the latest release of GuMaxDD

Small issue is horizontal navigation menu bar, dropdown background, made of 2 boxes of different size in black.

My menu doesn't look like your images, but I am satisfied.

Exactly, there is no such table in mediawiki database.
I give up to manuallyl create this table, since I need a script.

Just tested modern skin and works fine, selecting modern skin from
GuMaxDD skin > My Preference > Appearance > modern skin

Frankly speaking I would like to fine tune Mediawiki to support multimedia entry , more graphics, images
to replace text only entries.

I can do it manually, but I would prefer EDIT menu support.

My friend is looking for scripting tools to support his on-line art gallery.

Joomla, Wordpress come with too many editing tools, no WYSIWYG standard, block editor.

Any idea ?

Have you test monobook? is it running OK?
