GumaxV - dead?

Post by Gryzor »

Is the vertical skin not going to be developed any more? Such a shame, it's by far my favorite and most elegant... :(

Why would this be a shame? My work is completely voluntary ~~~

The Vertical skin is still working good so far even under MediaWiki 1.15.1... you can check link http://gumaxvn.paulgu.com.

I will update the skin when I get time...

Oh I know - maybe you misunderstood me; what I meant was, this skin is so good it'd be a real pity if you abandoned work on it completely. Yes, it seems to work flawlessly with my 1.15.1 installation!

Since we're at it, can I ask two questions? Which are the values that control the color of links to non-existing pages and the gradient (my users requested something more light)?

Again, congratulations - you're doing a fantastic job!

That's OK... ;)

The color of new link is in gumax_template.css, search for .new.

The color shouldn't be defined here, I need to fix this in next release... :D

Thanks - but it's not working? It's turning up blue, like he normal links, and not red... As a matter of fact that's why I wanted to change it, to make it red! :)

How do you make changes on them?

All you need to do is deleting them....

Oh, also - how can I add the counter at the bottom of the pages that says how many times a page was visited? What should I add to the xml?

Thanks once more...

For counter, edit GuMaxV.php file, need basic programming skills...
