Hiding the Play button in the Player

Post by Max Tronzo »

Hi:

this is a real nifty extension. Just worked from the get-go. I do have one question though.
Is there a property for turning off the Play button centered in the player video frame? I'm using SWFs that already embed a play button. If worse came to worse, I could remove them and just use the player's button.

btw, is there a list of available player options? Since this is adobe's player, I'm assuming all of adobe's properties are supported...

thanks much,

Max

Which play button you are talking about? the big one in the middle of the player or the small on in the play bar?

The flash player is from a open source, there are many options, you can give a crack on it....

The big button in the middle. On some player versions, there's the hidecontrols=true option, but when I try that, the runtime result is the invitation to get the Adobe player...

where is the source for this? I guess I could take a look...

thanks again. this is working very well... just need that one tweak...

The work around was simply to remove my own play button in the swf, then set autostart to false and use the flvplayer button. that works.
