Re: $wgEnableMWSuggest
I haven't had enough time to look at the code, but I've noticed the following issues: - Suggest results in the top right search box are not clickable (FF) - Suggest results on the Search page itself are clickable but do not return the proper search results. For example, searching for Conrad should r...

Changes to Horizontal Navigation Menu Series - revert?
Hi Paul. I hope all is well. I'm curious about the decision to make the changes you did to the design of the subject skin? I had grown quite fond of the original but it looks quite a bit different now. Were the reasons based on compatibility with the core mediawiki code? Aesthetically 4.0.0 is very ...

GuMax Article Banner Picture - display it on every page
What I wanted - in GuMax 3.4.1 horizontal menu - was to have the page being displayed present the Main Page image if no other image exists for the current page. The code that needs to be modified to make this work is very easy to update. Since I have added no other image but the Main Page image, thi...

Semantic Mediawiki
Has anyone tried using the gumax 3.4.1 skin with the Semantic Mediawiki extension?
I am testing it out in MW 1.14 & SMW 1.4.2, but the Factbox doesn't display.
Any feedback appreciated.

Re: How do I: Set Header across all pages & Fix up top white bit
Hi Paul As always, thanks for the theme. With regards to the code that renders $sitelogo, is there a reason why the $sitelogo in the conditional is commented out? Instead of this: } else { // $sitelogo = $this->data['stylepath'] . '/' . $this->data['stylename'] . '/images/header/' . 'default.gif'; /...

Re: where is the download link???
For those who search this thread and ask, what is the answer to the question?!? The download page is hyperlinked to the image on this page: http://paulgu.com/wiki/Mediawiki_Skins Click the image in each menu series features list and you will find the download link. I would agree that knowing that th...

Re: Get rid of that damn flower picture..
Cream There are a number of helpful tools to help you figure out the properties of a webpage, including the specific issue you have. The one I would recommend is the Web Developer addon for Firefox; with it, you can use the Information-> Display Block Size setting to see the size of various block le...

Re: Default Skin in LocalSettings.php
The skin name is case sensitive, so you must enter the skin name as gumax and not Gumax or GuMax.

Re: Get rid of that damn flower picture..
The way the skin is designed - you can have an image load based on the page name, as long as it is a gif, png or jpg file. The skin looks for images with the same name as the page being loaded and displays them accordingly. The page images get stored in the /skins/gumax/images/header folder - so you...
