I went through every tag with a td in gumax_template.css and put
background-color: transparent; and I didn't see it affect anything at all.

I don't know php or css, although I am familar with non web programming languages, so it's been a bunch of trial and error for me. I've just been trying to compare gumaxdd(box appears but can't select with the mouse) and gumaxvsearch(works fine) codes to the gumax3.2.1 and seeing if I could find som...

Is anybody else having trouble getting the new $wgEnableMWSuggest feature to work with the Gumax skin? I put $wgEnableMWSuggest = true; in my LocalSetting.php file and even commented out $wgScriptExtension = ".php"; (as suggested). However I just can't get the search suggestions to work. ...

Could you be more specific on exactly what I need to do and where? I tried my best with trial and error, but still couldn't find it. How exactly do I make those cells transparent?

Another quick question, in the attached picture how do I make those table cell(?) invisible so the background appears behind it? I modified the images so they are transparent but the table seems to have a white bg.

Which file and what portion do I need to exactly modify?

Paul, incase you were wondering about the table thing, in the file

'gumax_orange.css '

you add this something like this:

pre {
padding: 1em;
border: 1px dashed #2f6fab;
color: black;
background-color: #f9f9f9;
line-height: 1.1em;
}

I looked through the file and didn't see anything obvious as to what to change in order to make that table thing gray again.

Any ideas?

I know how to make those tables, just the color is white instead of gray. You usually do two blank spaces on a new line then that table should appear.
